Privacy Policy

Account details: your name, email address, a hashed password (we never see the password itself), an optional phone number and an optional profile photo.

Payment details: the service you paid with (bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Upay), the number you paid from, the transaction ID, the amount, any coupon, and an optional screenshot. We never ask for or see your PIN.

What you do on the site: posts, comments, likes, reports, lesson progress, quiz scores, certificates and notifications.

Technical data: your IP address and browser in server logs and login sessions, used for security.

To create your account, check payments, give you access to courses, run the community and keep it safe (for example, stopping spam, bots and account sharing).

Your phone number is used only by admins, to help with a payment. We do not send marketing messages, and we do not sell your data or show advertising.

Other members see only your name and profile photo next to what you post. Your email address, phone number and payment details are never shown to other members.

Admins of Banglay AI can see your account and payment details to approve payments and help you.

Service providers: our web host (Hostinger), Cloudflare (security, bot protection and the "are you human?" check on the sign-up and login forms), our email service (Resend, for account emails only) and YouTube (course videos are embedded with youtube-nocookie.com; the homepage intro video shows only a picture until you press play, and then loads YouTube’s standard player, which can set YouTube cookies).

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security cookie for forms. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell people from bots. Your theme choice (light, dark or system) is saved in your own browser, and if you install the app, your browser keeps some site files for faster loading. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Account and payment records are kept while your account exists and as long as needed for accounting. Notifications are deleted automatically after a few months. Payment screenshots are stored privately and only admins can open them.

You can see and change your name and photo on your profile page. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, write to [email protected] from your account’s email address. Approved payment records are kept for accounting even after an account is closed.
